Massachusetts Institute of Technology:-
Located at Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States and established, on 10th April 1861, this university is situated over 166 acres of land alongside the Charles River. As of last year, it had over 11k students. L. Rafael. Reif is the new president here. The 1000+ academic staff seem promising too. This University plays a key role in the development of mathematics, engineering, modern science, and technology in the United States.
It is widely known for its academic strength and innovations, referring it to be one of the most prosperous higher learned institutions in the world. MIT has more than 500 student activity groups that are recognized. It includes annual entrepreneurship competition, student newspaper “The Tech”, campus radio station and weekly screening of lecture series committee films. Less active groups include a model railroad club, vibrant folk dance and “ world’s largest open-shelf collection of science fiction” in English form. Harvard University:-
This is also located at Cambridge, Massachusetts and bigger than Massachusetts university (over 209 acres of land). It is the oldest institution in the US, founded in 1636 and named according to the first benefactor clergyman John Harvard, The Harvard University. This private Ivy League Research University has its own influence, history, academic reputation and wealth which make it one of the most glorious universities in the world. There are more than 2400 faculty members, 6000 undergraduates and 13000 postgraduates in the university. Primarily Harvard College trained Unitarian and congregational clergy. Havard’s alumni include 252 Marshall scholars, 188 living billionaires, more than 30 foreign heads of States, 369 Rhodes scholars and 160 Novel laureates. Stanford University:-
It is situated at Stanford, California, USA. Stanford University or Leland Stanford Junior University ranks as one of the world’s prestigious universities for its own selectivity, wealth, close proximity to Silicon Valley and academic achievements from different fields. It has a suburban campus of over 8,180 acres of land. This private research university was established 129 years ago. 2240 academic staffs work here. University of California, Berkeley:-
Founded on March 23, 1868. It has a total of 1232 acres of the urban campus. There are 31k undergraduates and 14k postgraduates in the University. This public research university keeps a deep relationship with three energy national laboratories of the US Department. They are –

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Los Alamos National Laboratory
It also includes space research laboratory and mathematical science research institutes. Berkeley researchers, faculty members, and alumni include 25 Turing Award winners, 14 fields medalists, and 107 Nobel Laureates. The average cost after aid is $15k.
Purdue University:-
Established on 6th May 1869, this research university is situated at West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. Mitch Daniels is the current President and endowment is $2.63 billion. There are 3000 academic staff, 32k undergraduates, 10k postgraduates at the university. The main campus offers more than 69 masters, over 200 majors for UG, doctoral programs and professional degrees on veterinary medicines and pharmacy. Cornell University:-
