India is a Unique country with a very rich history and an ever growing memory. It has been the world’s centre of intrigue controversies and dilemma. The breath taking mesmerizing INDIA.

The name “India” is originally derived from the name of the river Sindhu (Indus River). Officially known as ‘the Republic of India’, located in South Asia. It has the second largest population (135.26 crore) in the world after China, and one of the largest democracy in the world.

India is widespread with an area of 3,287,263[2] km2 It is the seventh-largest country in land area. Ranging from Kashmir in the North to Kanyakumari in the south and Gujarat in the west to Arunachal Pradesh in the East.

India has a very rich History of about 73,000 and 55,000 years old. It has lived the reigns of Kings, Nawabs, foreign Invaders and finally more than 200 yrs of British rule. India became an independent country in the year 1947. It has endless stories to tell and be proud of. India has been a land of controversies, and many good memories and a very beautiful past.

India has a mind blowing scenic beauty, it is world renowned and highly talked about. Many tourist from all over the world constantly visit India and praise its astounding beauty. It has one of the highest mountain peaks, Nanda Devi and the lowest sea level, Kuttanadu in Kerala, with the lowest altitude, 500 square km below sea level. It has the longest rivers, Brahmaputra and the Ganges, most beautiful lakes, beautiful hills, sea beaches, the oldest mesmerizing caves, artistic landscapes and natural fountains.

India has a very high and splendid culture, an enormously spoken of beautiful culture, of the past and the present. Its culture is very royal but modest and pious too. It is always admired throughout the world. A culture of royalty and of the downtrodden, a rather diversified, complicating but intrigue one.

India is a multi -religion country, all religions are practiced here with Hinduism being the major one. While Islam, Buddhism Jainism, Sikhism, Christianity, Taoism, Judaism, Confucianism, Bahai, Shinto, and Zoroastrianism are also practiced here. Down the ages India has been through diversified religious beliefs. In different phases and periods India lived through many superstitious beliefs too. Its people are humble and give in to any religion with the strongest populous and manipulating powers. Religion was used as a media to lead or mislead the humble people. Thus many foreign religion and missionaries made its way into India and took a strong hold.

Gravitation was known to the Hindus (Indians) before the birth of Newton. The system of blood circulation was discovered by them centuries before Harvey was heard of.

Resources in India are meticulous. India is rich in many things and most of all INTELLENGENCE. Skills are in abundant here, and so the manpower without which no industry functions. Natural resources are enormous and rich here like minerals, plants, herbs, animals, birds, water etc. India inherits the richest natural resources the world produces. India is the origin of Yoga- to unite the self with the spirit of the universe, a discipline which relaxes the mind and body.

India is a fast developing country in all aspects. Today India has one of the largest Railway network in the world. It also has one of the most modern tube railway network, and moving towards acquiring the fastest trains.
