- Oil Pulling: It is a traditional Indian way of mouth washing to remove bacteria, dirt, and debris. The research shows that it is also helpful in teeth whitening.
- How is it done? Coconut oil the best-preferred choice for oil pulling because of its health benefits and taste. It decreases inflammation and helps in killing bacteria. For oil pulling, take a teaspoon of the oil and put it into your mouth for 50 to 60 seconds right after brushing and then spit it out and rinse your mouth with water.
- Brush teeth with baking soda: Baking soda helps polish the surface of the teeth and also remove the stains. It also helps to fight bacteria and prevents tooth decay and plaque. Use this judiciously, as letting it stay for a longer duration may erode your enamel.
