A Must-Read on Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Depression

Suzanne Zacharia

We’re going to talking about a few things you must know about Anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

Anxiety, in any of its forms, can be a life of regularly experienced fear or terror about things that do not bother most other people. Anxiety is more than mere nervousness.

Anxiety involves the mind-body being in a state of high alert on a regular, and for some, on a constant, basis.

After that sustained pressure to keep one’s guard up, day in and day out, it is only understandable that depression follows.

People with panic disorder (regular panic attacks) or PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), both of which are anxiety disorders, are particularly likely to end up with depression.

This makes logical sense on a physical level, and I want you to think about these illnesses on a physical level because I find that it helps.

So, for example, both panic disorder and depression involve something going wrong in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function. These are glands that have a role to play in stress, and so panic attacks and depression are not imagined in your mind, they are related to a real physical thing in your body.

As a matter of fact, every type of anxiety disorder and any kind of depression has a corresponding complex physical part that is real and makes sense. This is why I like therapies that go further than talk and thinking.

You need to address the physical as well.

Consulting with a functional nutritionist can help you with areas of your diet that can help. And as long as you are not on a strict or fad diet, you should be able to respond to the new genre of Energy modality therapies and self-help methods.

Energy modalities are understood to have an effect on both the emotional and physical parts of anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.

For example, EFT Tapping involves getting to the body’s organs by stimulating the ancient Chinese meridian system whilst vocalising a safe portion of the problem.

EFT has been scientifically proven to reduce the stress hormone cortisol by as much as 24 and 48 percent respectively in two recent studies. I do not know of any other method that can do that.

I have personally suffered from anxiety, panic attacks, and depression and can personally vouch for the efficacy of EFT Tapping, much needed at the time.

EFT Tapping is an excellent aid for releasing anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.

You can learn everything you need to know, from beginner to feeling better, with specialist EFT courses, or you can jump right in and get sessions with a qualified EFT Practitioner who is experienced in all three (this means the practitioner is skilled and experienced in trauma release, which is always there for these conditions, even if you cannot see it right now).

The nice thing about EFT is that you can find the expert practitioner for this mixture of conditions who knows exactly how to release you from their grip, and they can be anywhere in the world, as EFT Tapping works remarkably well online, rather than use someone local who may or may not have the expertise you need.

If EFT is not for you, I recommend the very gentle Reiki.

Most importantly, stick at your recovery journey, and you can feel better, whatever you find works for you.

Anxiety, panic attacks and depression do not disappear overnight or in just a few sessions.

So please remember this advice to persevere and simply notice partial results along the way instead of looking for a full result immediately.

You can feel actual partial results along the way to reassure you that you are on the right path.
